Arooj Arif is a doctoral researcher in computer science at Northeastern University, supervised by Prof. Alexandros Koliousis. The research focuses on testing and robustness of deep learning systems, with an emphasis on tomography-based robustness estimation, probabilistic coverage, and validity-aware evaluation under multi-factor perturbations. Together with Prof. Koliousis, Arooj is developing TestifAI, a framework for estimating model performance over large perturbation spaces from limited tests. Research interests include trustworthy AI, software testing, and safety-critical deep learning applications.
